About ME

I’m an Americana singer-songwriter from rural Wisconsin, writing emotional, story-driven music inspired by real life and the human experience. My songs blend honesty, reflection, and bold expression, shaped by where I come from and the stories I’ve lived.

Roots & Personal Background

I was born and raised in a small logging town in rural Wisconsin, the kind of place most people have never heard of. I started writing songs young, often on the bus ride to school with ’90s country playing in my headphones. Music was always part of my world. I learned piano at age five from my grandma and later joined my school band, where I stubbornly chose the flute and stuck with it even when it took months just to make a sound.

Musical Journey & Influences

At eighteen, I left my hometown to attend college in a Chicago suburb, where my musical influences expanded. Artists like Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles, Ben Rector, Taylor Swift, Jack Johnson, Hozier, and Ed Sheeran helped shape my songwriting voice. I wrote constantly, often sneaking into practice rooms between classes. Traveling abroad to countries like the Czech Republic, Spain, Honduras, and Guatemala further shaped how I see the world and how I tell stories through music.

Finding the Stage

After college, I returned home and began teaching in local schools, mostly General Music and Band. Life felt settled until I took a chance and auditioned for a community theatre production in January 2024. Being cast in a lead role reminded me how much I loved creating and performing. Soon after, I walked into a coffee shop open mic on a whim and met the musicians who would become my bandmates in Eclectic Connection. For about a year, we performed together, building confidence with every show before eventually going our separate ways in April 2025.

What I’m Working On Now

I’m currently working on my first EP, scheduled for release in summer 2026. It’s a reflection of my journey so far, rooted, honest, and created for anyone who finds meaning in music that tells the truth.
